It is our outrageous times that make outlets like SCF essential to enable muffled viewpoints to be heard, writes Declan Hayes.

When I tried to post a Facebook link to my Chinese Swot Analysis article soon after this site published it, Facebook immediately informed me that “your post couldn’t be shared, because this link goes against our Community Standards”. As Strategic Culture Foundation had only recently migrated to their new site and, as their recent editorial explained how the CIA were terrorising them, the fault, if such there was, was not mine alone but one all SCF contributors find themselves sharing with very many others, who form the topic of this wide-ranging article.
Though that editorial also explained how “the outrageous action to obliterate SCF is a sign of the sinister times”, it is precisely our outrageous times that make outlets like SCF essential to enable muffled viewpoints to be heard. Those voices include that of Grayzone, which had its funds seized by GoFundMe, no doubt because, in the words of NATO’s Wikipedia outlet, that “American fringe, far-left news website and blog founded and edited by American journalist Max Blumenthal” recently got to speak at the United Nations, thanks to the devious machination of Putin who, like Beelzebub himself, is the father of any and all mis-information and dis-information that shows NATO in less than glittering terms.
But what would I know, compared to NATO’s social media fact-checkers, which banned mention of Hunter Biden’s incriminating laptop because it was, like all those hundreds of thousands of flags we see fluttering over newly-dug Ukrainian graves, Russian mis-information?
Mis-information, something Putin’s Russkies seem to have the global patent on. Remember how they stole the election from Hillary Clinton and got Yanks to vote in their tens of millions for no-hoper Donald Trump, who is again leading the pack for the 2024 race.
Maybe Putin got that giant killer squid he weaponised, the one NATO’s media told us lurks 2km beneath the Antarctic, in on the act. Maybe Putin gets that squid to roam the wholesome streets of Philadelphia and California by night, mesmerising all it sees to reject the Biden organised crime family and plump for Kennedy or Trump instead. Who is to know?
If you find it incredulous that Putin has weaponised such a science fiction character, just remember that the only reason you can sleep safely in your bed is because the American, Australian and British Southern fleets protect us from such creepy crawly monsters linking up with the Chinese who the BBC and other NATO outlets tell us are, along with those giant squids the eagle-eyed Japanese whalers seem to always miss, our mortal enemies.
The BBC tells us we should be afraid and so should our children when we read them these bedtime tales of giant Moby Dicks and karate-kicking Chinese opium smokers that even Sherlock Holmes found a handful. The BBC tells us that the people of Niger, bereft of their brutal French overlords, live in fear. As, according to the same BBC, do the Muscovites, lest Putin feed the lot of them to one of his pet squids.
Although Chinese actor and martial arts’ expert Jackie Chan could protect us from all of this, because he has never heard of the Kardashians, not even Chan, China’s answer to Spiderman, can now save the day. We are, it seems, doomed, to be eaten alive by Putin’s giant squids unless we find a saviour, some “rough beast, its hour come round at last”, slouching towards Bethlehem to be born.
But, hark! Here slouching along comes America’s star-diapered Joe Biden, who put all those Ukrainian slush fund slurs against him to bed at about the same time Jeffrey Epstein fixer Bill Clinton was putting Monica Lewinsky to bed. He is our hero.
Although Biden has recently banged up some American Proud Boys for an impressive 17 years apiece for wandering around Capitol Hill without appropriate authorisation, he had to dig up some archaic Civil War era legislation to railroad them along to the State Pen. Although that is a solid victory “for the rules-based order”, unless the Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA actors are to be again unleashed onto Main Street America, Donald Trump must also join them for the rest of his natural life behind bars.
Once Trump is caged, then we can go after Oliver Anthony and his denigration of Rich Men North of Richmond. These Johnny Rebels must know that General Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia is, like Dixie itself, down and will never rise again.
General Lee’s Appalachians of Kentucky, Tennessee, Northern and Western Virginia certainly never will, as fentanyl and crack cocaine rule the roost there just as it does in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Luckily, those running in the 2024 American Presidential election have proposed an American solution to this very American problem. That solution is to invade Mexico, which is a great move as it pulls at our patriotic heart strings and, better still. is more cash in the bank for those on Capitol Hill who hold defence stocks.
Those Capitol Hill worthies include such luminaries as 81 (or is it 812?) year old Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who suddenly fell silent again in mid-sentence, Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein (who dated George Washington just before Al Gore founded the Continental Army), sprightly 83 year old spring chicken Nancy Polosi (whose astute husband has been the subject of all kinds of misinformation smears about his sexual partners and his good fortune at the stock market, which has nothing to do with insider trading on information his wife or boyfriends whisper to him in their sumptuous marriage beds) and, of course, Creepy Joe Biden, who is as straight as a boomerang.
Because Putin’s mis-information is so pervasive, Spiderman, Sammy the Squid Killer, as well as McConnell and Biden (in their more lucid moments) cannot save us from perdition on their own. That is why we need the EU’s Ursula von der Leyen and those minnow states in thrall to that beast of the Apocalypse to ensure we do not drink from the poisoned informational chalices of The Grayzone, Russia Today, Strategic Culture Foundation or their ilk, or be unduly influenced by Sound of Freedom or any similar of Putin’s stunts; Putin is, after all, no slouch and his squids are the Dirty Harrys of the CIA’s Sci Fi worlds. We need the protective blinkers of our very own political mafia so that we may plod, donkey-like along, living and partly living.
There is a Finnish MP facing trial for the hate speech crime of defending traditional marriage, one of many reasons why von der Leyen is “bringing our European values into the digital world”. Like the Bidens, von der Leyen needs such laws to censor her scandalous deal with Pfizer’s CEO, which is currently the subject of a criminal case in Belgium.
Von der Leyen’s Digital Services Act, which has been endorsed by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and all the other usual NATO camp followers, will help to prevent the spread of disinformation such as drawing undue attention to the half a million Ukrainian soldiers who have died for Zelensky’s coke mountains and the Bidens’ bio-labs, and to prevent the dissemination of “harmful content” such as my innocuous Chinese Swot analysis or speculative comments on NATO’s Nordstream terrorist attack..
Heaven forbid that this SCF site or others like it might avail of free speech to make rational inquiries for after all, if God wanted us to reason for ourselves, He would not have given us philosopher-kings and queens like Big Pharma’s von der Leyen, Feinstein and that utter cretin, Karine Jean-Pierre, to police our scientific and philosophical thoughts.
America’s equivalent of von der Leyen’s Digital Censorship Act is the Restrict Act, which will green light jailing yet more Yankee dissidents for surfing the Net in manners Capitol Hill’s Walking Dead disapprove of. These American and European reforms will combine to make using the Internet much more fearsome than one of Putin’s killer squids and more useless than any of our newly minted gatekeepers. Brave New World meets 1984!
Though none of that loss of freedom worries me in the least on a personal level, what saddens me beyond words is that there are over 500,000 newly-dug Ukrainian graves, each a testament to the inhumanity of these philosopher kings, serial gropers and perpetual war criminals, for whom I have less respect than I’d have for a piece of dog dung stuck to my shoe.
Over half a million dead, far more than even the American Civil War they never shut up about and all because they would not pay heed to Putin’s warnings or the muffled bleats of this obscure website.
These amoral savages have gleefully fought Russia to the last Ukrainian, just as they hope to fight China to the last Filipino and just as Herr Hitler drained Germany’s hospitals, convalescent homes and high schools for yet more human sacrifices in late 1944 and early 1945 to pile against the Red Army. There are not enough curses under the sun to hurl at these curs, who are, in any case, as immune to them as were the British Tories and their Royal overlords to the spittle thrown at their profiteering following the 1918 Armistice. God curse every last one of them and all belonging to them.
Germany, at least, had their 20 July plot. We don’t even have that. All we have, for now, is Pfizer’s von der Leyen, Zelensky’s Biden and other rich men north of Richmond with nothing more than an imaginary squid 2 km below the Antarctic to keep us all in line until the levees break and the tide of outraged humanity washes them all away. Godspeed that day.
Aldous Huxley predicted that “By means of ever more effective methods of mind-manipulation, the democracies will change their nature; the quaint old forms— elections, parliaments, Supreme Courts and all the rest—will remain. The underlying substance will be a new kind of non-violent totalitarianism. All the traditional names, all the hallowed slogans will remain exactly what they were in the good old days. Democracy and freedom will be the theme of every broadcast and editorial—but democracy and freedom in a strictly Pickwickian sense. Meanwhile the ruling oligarchy and its highly trained elite of soldiers, policemen, thought-manufacturers and mind-manipulators will quietly run the show as they see fit.”
And so, sadly, it has come to pass, as has Orwell’s truisms that “The Ministry of Peace concerns itself with war, the Ministry of Truth with lies, the Ministry of Love with torture and the Ministry of Plenty with starvation. These contradictions are not accidental, nor do they result from ordinary hypocrisy: they are deliberate exercises in doublethink.”
But it is our job to reject doublethink, to reject the fatalism of Huxley and Orwell, even as we agree with the latter that “freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four”, no matter how strongly they try to convince us that boys are girls, girls are boys and that we adults should be afraid of them and their squiddish, squirming ways.
