Iran is more than prepared for a U.S. invasion. It actually wants it. Just how far gone has Trump’s mind advanced when plans are afoot for an ‘invasion’?

It would appear that the posts on social media by various U.S. doctors, including those who have been Trump’s, that he is losing his mind, are true. The new reality for the whole world is that there is a president in the White House who has lost all sense of proportion and reality about what the U.S. military is capable of achieving in the Middle East – culminating now with a new threat of a broader, longer war with Iran.
Just recently, it was reported that the U.S. has sent more than 60 refuelling aircraft to Israel, with 33 stationed at Ben Gurion Airport, along with a massive airlift aircraft to U.S. bases ahead of Trump’s expected escalation of military operations against Iran. Trump is considering ordering a huge bombing campaign in the coming days, wider than current strikes, including bombing more Iranian infrastructure facilities such as power plants, energy infrastructure, and additional attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Yet the Israelis are nervous and might be the only ones to tell him to put his plans on ice. The huge amount of military equipment accumulating in Israel makes both it and the country an easy and obvious target. But even putting caution aside with regards to the Zionist state’s worries, Trump’s plans are nothing short of madness from a man suffering from mental illness late in life. The idea that more bombing of such infrastructure is going to soften up the Iranians, when in fact such an act would only confirm to their hardliners that the MOU was simply a ruse to buy time before a new war would begin. Trump is hardly cryptic, and the Iranians had already worked out what the MOU was really about. Hardly the Times crossword.
But just how much punishment can the U.S. take militarily? In recent days, the Iranians have removed more bases from their GCC host countries, with little if anything left in the entire region; even warehouses from private firms have been blown up with their stocks inside. Trump has very little ammo left if he is to take on Iran, and present efforts to replenish stocks are nowhere near the levels required for any kind of land invasion.
Analysts are divided over this. A land invasion, some believe, is being delayed as Trump’s family are making billions from market manipulation, while others think it is inevitable at some point, but with few agreeing on whether it will be a limited coastal ‘invasion’ taking key ports and military facilities in order to take a number of strategic islands, while others opt for the bigger land invasion blueprint, probably from Iraq and almost certainly made up of a coalition of Arab countries – almost certainly the UAE.
All of these plans, though, only demonstrate the extent of Trump’s mental condition, who clearly has no real military experts around him to level with him and is only listening to those whom he has installed to be his yes-men. Outside of his coterie of nodding dogs, there isn’t a single military expert in the U.S., or in the Middle East, who believes that the U.S. can win by any stretch of the imagination, given how strong Iran is, how prepared it is, how the U.S. lacks any element of surprise, and what a poor track record U.S. soldiers have with such interventions. The losses on the U.S. side are going to be so high that Trump will have to go to extraordinary lengths to muzzle U.S. media from reporting on the real numbers. He will probably manage that. But the truth will get out, as there will be massive mutinies when the slaughter starts, as many U.S. generals will simply defy orders when American soldiers start dropping like flies. The difference between Trump and every other U.S. president before him is that he has no problem at all with thousands of American lives being lost simply to satisfy his craving for respect, while he nurses his own inferiority complex left by Obama. But will the U.S. military itself go ahead with the maddest invasion since when the British in WW1 tried to invade Turkey and, along with their allies, lost well over 100,000 men at Gallipoli? The Ottomans lost almost 200,000 men of their own just to defend their homeland.
Of course, Trump doesn’t read books and is sensationally ignorant. And he is no Churchill. But the fact that there is no safety mechanism in the Pentagon or the White House to stop his insane ventures is worrying, as the entire global order is going to be thrown into disarray, not to mention the American economy, which has the lowest oil stocks in its history due to the Iran war fiasco. Trump is about to become an anathema both in the U.S. and on the global stage, as we head towards an abyss all of his own making after his spectacular hubris leads him to his Gallipoli moment. But unlike Churchill, history will not be kind to him.
The recent attacks on critical infrastructure in Iran point all military experts and TV pundits to one conclusion: that some sort of “boots on the ground” scenario is being planned. For the moment, the only troops which could be deployed would be airborne, which means very limited numbers, and so one scenario which Trump is mulling over is taking over key locations along the coast. But he doesn’t have the guided missiles in stock to support such a hare-brained plan, not to mention that time is also not on his side, as the earliest that such an ‘invasion’ could kick off would be in December due to the heat.
To think that Iran doesn’t have the military capability of defending those posts is as mind-numbing as Trump himself recently threatening to destroy Iran’s banking sector with sanctions – when Iran years earlier had completely dumped the dollar, abandoned SWIFT, and bought crypto and gold, knowing full well that even in 2015 when a deal was struck with the West, it would only be a matter of time before it would be reneged on. And they were right.
What should worry the American people is that Trump’s madness is driving him to a war with Iran which will be a certain loss for the American military – which, in truth, has never won a single war on its own, but has a long history of defeats. What Trump is planning for the midterms is chaos in America, and he is already preparing the narrative (the lies) for his defeat at the polls.
