The refusal of a number of these leading American universities to agree to Trump’s educational reforms is indicative of the emasculating forces NATO’s third level sector labour under. Quite simply, Trump, inter alia, wants to halt the dissemination of trans LGBT ideology and to level the intellectual playing field amongst the universities’ parasitical classes, whilst also limiting the number of foreign students hogging places at the expense of Americans and, of course, further lining the pockets of his friends and family in the process.
This is so, even though foreign students are being ripped off, in the name of diversity no less, to an even greater degree than are the Americans, who don’t have to pay the exorbitant surcharges foreigners do. Leaving that aside, they are all being massively ripped off as far too many of their classes consist of politically correct lecturers waffling on about irrelevant “soft science” guff that should have been, along with the waffling lecturers, made redundant long before AI and Google exposed their decades long scam.
The problem with universities is they teach what they think they know and not what the market needs and thus they are riddled with sinecured smoked salmon socialists, who have vested interests in keeping their nepotistic scams going. Not only are waffle faculties like geography, sociology, theology and God knows what else subsidised by finance, marketing and other subjects that are in demand but the con merchants insist that students doing solid courses in finance, artificial intelligence and engineering must do foundational studies in the worthless bullshit they peddle.
That, at least, has been my experience teaching quantitative courses in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Americas. Japanese and American students I taught in Tokyo had to endure courses on the advanced fellatio techniques of Utah’s Mormons, where the voyeuristic professor (sic) was hired through the nepotistic graces of another worthless American religion lecturer who prattled on about music even though that obese son of a cross burning Ku Klux Klan wizard didn’t know an air from a bull’s fart.
Not that those pig ignorant American supremacists it was my misfortune to work with in Tokyo are that big of an exception to the rule that NATO’s universities are full of charlatans, as here is an account of disgraced former University of Limerick president Kerstin Mey, an East German professor of visual culture (wtf that transparent scam is), being paid €175,000 a year to sit on her well cushioned bottom, which, sexually molesting colleagues and students apart, is just about all these legions of life long leeches are good at.
Much of this malaise throughout the American empire began after VJ Day when the Yanks, fearful their demobbed GIs might get Bolshy and start stringing them up, poured billions into fifth rate colleges to mollify their demobbed legions via the GI Bill. That system later became a gravy train for charlatans teaching wimmin’s studies and other clown town topics which were barely tolerated at first but which have now become dominant and all pervasively invasive just like how all of history’s other most lethal viruses eventually subsumed their hosts.
Although my former colleagues and I used to scoff at what we regarded as essentially an American problem, the Yanks have spread that virus internationally and the Chinese, along with other minorities, must take their fair share of the blame in this regard.
The problem with the Chinese in this particular instance is that it is the fees of their students that keep Western academia ticking over and, without those tens of billions of Chinese dollars, the entire Western educational bait and switch facade would collapse. Although we have to accept that many Chinese crave the vacuous English Harry Potter and Brideshead Revisited experiences and that lots of young Indian students want to watch cricket at Lords and Man Utd win (wishful thinking) at Old Trafford, beneath that Paddington Bear tinsel the cupboard is bare, and the Asian powers, in conjunction with their biggest companies, should be building yet newer and better colleges to plug that massive financial black hole. But Trump and the rest of NATO are so much up their own arses that they cannot see how vulnerable they are to concerted Russian, Chinese, Indian and/or ASEAN counter measures.
Though that takes care of the Asians in BAME, we are still left with the Black and minority ethnics, who are being ripped off in a similarly criminal and mafia like fashion, most especially, in the States, by worthless part time and correspondence courses, where those minorities are preyed on, just as they are with predatory lending.
But maybe all this is my Catholic background, which objects to snot rags micturating on St Peter’s High Altar, as much as I do to the Italian Catholic universities teaching their own drivel to their own inbred morons. Where I and, more importantly, great Catholic reformers see education as a chance for upward mobility and to broaden the mind, Trump’s chums largely look at education as another chance to turn a buck out of the BAME lot with what these Indians now call intellectual fast buck food chains.
Here is a report of Trump planning to offload the lucrative student debt goldmine onto his favourite vulture funds and another of British Catholic schools being taxed out of existence by their virtue signaling government and here is another on British parents shopping for boarding schools abroad to help their kids retain a competitive edge. And here, to show that Trump is not the only fox in the educational hen house, is the latest in a long list of Ossie universities screwing over their students by running unaccredited courses that left the students they conned high and dry.
The only groups that can stymie this massive exploitation are the governments of Russia, Vietnam, India, Malaysia and China, together with the Catholic Church and similar bodies. They can do this by getting back to first principles, by teaching the STEM and 3Rs subjects, as well as professional courses in engineering, medicine, dentistry and so on. Though I would be the last to attack Harry Potter or Paddington Bear, all such soft offerings have passed their sell by dates and it is time for those aforementioned groupings to offer a viable choice for those young students who want to mature into employable adults and not, as is the current status quo, regress into unemployable cash cows for the Donald Trumps and Jared Kushners of NATO’s clown world.
If we regard China as a ‘state of engineers which is ruled by engineers’, and recall that former Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao wrote the definitive book on ‘Rare Earth Minerals‘, then China’s collusion in this academic circus is all the more perplexing. The Chinese, to recap, build dams that slow the world’s rotation but they cannot see through the obvious scam that is third level education in NATO land. What gives?
The answer to that rhetorical question lies not in the Harry Potter Philosophy Halls of Oxbridge or with those who use the High Altar of the Vatican as a pit stop and nor, of course, does it lie with those Chinese autocrats, who see the answer to all life’s challenges in a set square, a hard hat and slab of reinforced concrete. The answer lies in China selflessly developing the STEM educational horizons of South East Asia and countries contiguous to it in the same way it developed them in China and then sitting back and letting NATO deal with the consequences of their educational scams collapsing. Though the seeds of such a policy already exist in the amount of foreigners studying medicine in the Philippines, only China has the means to give such a subversive policy the necessary economies of scale, if they could only wean themselves off Harry Potter and Brideshead Revisited and the charlatans who spoonfed their little darlings that gruel.
