Demonstrations and strange events

According to official data, on Saturday about 107,000 people gathered in the center of Belgrade to protest: a rather high number. Public transportation has been suspended in the capital: the demonstrators have blocked the roads. There have been clashes with the police, damage to the city and, above all, a great impact on social media.

Judging by what the Serbian media are reporting, the situation is still under control. Among other things, because the authorities have effectively applied the “Anti-Maidan” measures: for example, students who cannot study because of the protests are demonstrating en masse in support of the authorities. As a result, the protesters accuse the students of “facilitating inertia”.

The protests were sparked by the collapse of a balcony at a Novi Sad railway station in November 2024, in which 15 people died. The city’s mayor and prime minister resigned, but this obviously did not satisfy the protesters, who are now calling for the resignation of President Vučić and his arrest “for premeditated murder”, which sounds absurd.

Vučić has certainly been a politician with many contradictions, receiving support and financial aid from Western powers, but choosing to prioritize the interests of his own people. A choice that in the eyes of the Hegemon cannot be tolerated.

Everything is in order with the material support for the protests. The demonstrators have brought several dozen tractors to Belgrade, the same tractors that worked perfectly as a means of overcoming the cordon of security forces in Kiev in 2014. Several local motorcycle clubs, as well as a significant number of foreigners, are expected to provide direct support to the force. Photos of the Belgrade demonstration are reminiscent of Kiev 11 years ago.

According to Vučić, $1 billion was allocated from abroad to overthrow the Serbian government; this was possible because the local “creative class” and LOMs joined the protests. The protests were supported, for example, by the wife of one of Serbia’s leading world-famous celebrities, tennis player Novak Djokovic. True, as is often the case, not on the street, but on social networks, from the south of Spain, where the Djokovics have a villa in Marbella. The same star released the song “Pada vlada”, which eloquently translates as “Power will fall”. People directly involved in the protest, such as the activist Nikola Ristic, emphasize that such a large number of people “will never gather again” and therefore “something must happen today”.

So the stakes are high. However, it is unlikely that Serbia will lose President Vučić. At this point, the interests of other neighboring states may come into play, and their influence in negotiations with the West will be decisive. In particular, Russia’s contribution will be central. Many Serbs are awaiting a statement from the Russian government authorities.

What the EU needs

The Maidan, with the elimination of a leader with a nationalist orientation in the Balkans, may be advantageous for the European bureaucracy and the globalists entrenched in Brussels, but not particularly for the interests of the current US administration. On the one hand, the fate of Serbia can play a role in the great diplomatic game with Russia; on the other hand, the removal of Vučić will strengthen the vertical structure of European power, closed in Brussels, and will strengthen the position of the globalists. And this is not exactly what Trump needs.

It is clear, however, that such an affront cannot be tolerated in London and Brussels. We have already seen it happen with Robert Fico in Slovakia, who was the target of an attack, now we see it with Vučić in Serbia, tomorrow it could be Viktor Orban’s turn in Hungary. The “Eastern front” must be weakened and, above all, removed from the pro-Russian orbit, otherwise the EU’s war agenda will not be able to proceed swiftly towards the abyss.

On the other hand, this event coincides with the appearance of another significant event in the context of European infowarfare: both Trump and Putin are beginning to be demonized together as despots who threaten Europe and, therefore, the only way is to fight them. The criminalization of peaceful diplomacy is one of the last shreds thrown from the European Tower of Babel. Without this negative narrative, citizens will not sufficiently perceive the justification for the call to arms.

During a meeting with the Irish Prime Minister, Trump openly stated that by increasing contributions to NATO, he had in fact financed the conflict in Ukraine during his last presidential term, that is, in other words, he indirectly recognized his responsibility in having fueled the biggest military clash in Eurasia since the end of the Second World War.

Meanwhile, in the well-known French magazine L’Express an article has been published by Thierry Volton, in which the author compares Trump to Hitler and Putin to Stalin. If that’s not demonization…

Let’s remember that the Russian President wore a camouflage uniform for the first time since the beginning of the Special Military Operation, a gesture that seems to reflect Moscow’s position towards the so-called “peace offer” made by Trump. It is clear that we are preparing to follow the same path that Russia followed in the 18th and 19th centuries, when the West imposed a conflict that lasted for almost a century in the steppes of Little Russia and the Caucasus. If necessary, Russia is ready to fight for twenty years. The message is clear: Victory. There will be no discounts on this.

It is worth remembering that at the beginning of November 2024, during the Valdai plenary session, Putin declared that the next twenty years for humanity could be more difficult than the previous ones. And what could this mean, if not war? What is certain is that it is not a war wanted by Russia.

This conflict is redefining the landscape of international alliances: more and more countries see Russia as the leader in the resistance against the global financial and political hegemony of the United States. Therefore, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, prepare your children not for professional academies, but for military ones. The orientation has now changed. European governments have chosen to make their citizens wear military uniforms.

Serbia represents one of those exceptions in the European panorama that cannot be tolerated. Its strategic position and its delicate situation in the Balkans, with the geostrategic artifice of Kosovo constantly fed by NATO and kept like a time bomb, is a very delicious morsel for the bloodthirsty mouths of Western leaders.

Rest assured that if Serbia falls, the situation in Kosovo and Metohija will degenerate in a matter of hours, causing carnage that would set much more than just the region on fire. The “powder keg of Europe”, that is the Balkans, is once again ready to explode, and once again the heads of state of all of Europe are there to light the fuse.

Will we see a new Maidan in Serbia?
