In the midst of one of humanity’s most disastrous crises, Donald Trump has found the courage to make very aggressive statements toward Palestine. We had no doubt, the American goal remains the same.

Buying Gaza to make it a real estate business

If we were in a “normal” world, statements such as those made by Trump regarding the future of Gaza and Palestine would elicit not only outrage, but also harsh international accusation and popular dismissal from the presidential office. But because we are in a time when everything is subverted, in the collective West everything is accepted as pure media entertainment.

Not an hour goes by that Trump does not make statements about Gaza: he has affirmed that he is intent on buying, owning and controlling Gaza and may cede sections of the Strip to other states. Coming from a developer with more than 40 years of experience in the industry, one has to take this seriously. According to him, the Palestinians will not have the right to return to Gaza under his land acquisition plan, which has its roots in the territorial concession agreement by Egypt to the Palestinians.

No mention for what concerns millennia of history, almost as if the Palestinians appeared out of nowhere claiming to occupy unknown territory. No mention, also, for the real issue, which is Zionism and the invention of the State of Israel with the consequent occupation of the Palestinian territories.

A very sly but ineffective political communication ploy. While the world is still stunned by the so-called “Trump effect” for the beginning of his term, he goes ahead with the plan agreed upon with the Zionist entity, consistent with his business and interests.

Too bad, that the other half of the world, the Arab half, (directly concerned), does not think so, so much so that the King of Jordan on the sidelines of his official visit to the White House said, “I reiterated Jordan’s firm position against the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza and the [occupied] West Bank. Rebuilding Gaza without displacing Palestinians and addressing the dire humanitarian situation should be the priority for everyone.”

He was echoed by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al Sisi, who canceled his meeting with Trump until the agenda for talks includes the U.S. plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza.

Trump then signed an executive order to ease restrictions on cash payments and gifts paid to foreign officials as anti-corruption regulations curb U.S. business. Put another way: the U.S. government is ready to buy the favors of leaders and officials of Middle Eastern states, whatever it takes. A true businessman’s move, no doubt about it.

The U.S. stands to usher in 2025 with the usual American style of bribery, buying and selling of favors, falsification of reality and construction of artificial narratives. Up to here, it makes no difference whether Democrats or Republicans are in charge, it is just the Made in USA style, always the usual.

The West does not care if we are talking about human lives, about that same Palestine that during the Biden presidency was hoisted as the flag of a common battle for the whole world. Under Trump, n can no longer fight the same ideological battle.

It is all a game, a perfect communication game, reminding us how much politics is not changing, because strategies and ploys change, not style, not matrix.

Going against Trump now would mean missing a lot of opportunities, and so many Western leaders know this well, so they avoid the topic, plugging their eyes as the offensive toward the Palestinians continues.

Sooner or later the West will choke on its own hypocrisy.

The real leader in the Blue House

What we can again reiterate, getting further confirmation, is that it is not the White House that is in charge, but the Blue House, the one with the Israeli flag in the Oval Office.

All it took to “resolve” the Palestinian issue was one trip by Netanyahu to Washington and immediately the balance was once again clear for all to see. Or, at least, that is how it should be.

Netanyahu showed the world that the Zionist lobby does business with anyone, whether his name is Biden or Trump does not matter, there are balances of power that are not affected by popular uprisings.

Meanwhile, the Israeli ultra-right is pressing to continue with the extermination in Gaza and complete that Greater Israel project of which Trump has always been a great promoter and for which he has promised to maintain support.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said he is waiting for Netanyahu to give the order to seize Gaza and expel its citizens if Hamas failed to meet the ultimatum regarding the return of hostages: “Mr. Prime Minister, I urge you, following such a moral, simple and clear statement by President Trump, to inform Hamas unequivocally: either all the hostages are released by Saturday – no more steps, no more games, or the gates of hell will open on them […] There will be a complete conquest of the Gaza Strip. All Gazans will be removed from the Strip, in line with President Trump’s plan, the territory will be taken and sovereignty will be enforced because this is the painful price our enemy understands.”

Speaking from the Operations Directorate command center, Israeli War Minister Israel Katz took the same line and warned that if Hamas does not release the Israeli prisoners by Saturday, “the gates of hell will open on them, just as the U.S. president promised,” vowing that the new Gaza war will be “different in intensity” and “will not end without the defeat of Hamas and the release of all hostages.”

Katz stressed that the ceasefire agreement was only to ensure the release of hostages, saying, “If Hamas stops releasing hostages-then there is no agreement and there is war.” He also suggested that the new offensive would facilitate “the realization of U.S. President Trump’s vision regarding Gaza.”

One should not forget the Trump Family’s own direct connection to Israel, through Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who could play a larger role in Middle East relations. When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu traveled to Washington last week to meet with Trump, he also had a private conversation with Kushner, in which they discussed Trump’s proposed plans to rebuild Gaza (American-style) and other issues related to Israel’s relations with the Middle East.

Kushner is a member of the Orthodox Habat organization and is married to Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka. Officially he had stated that he would not hold any White House posts (he had been a senior adviser to Trump during his first term), but informally his presence in Washington offices is worth more than many official positions.

Israel and the U.S. do not fail to reconfirm every day their solid alliance that is fundamental to the achievement of each other’s goals. This should be taken into account by all those Western masses who allow themselves to be persuaded by the crumbs of campaign-promised change.

Yes, perhaps “peace” will be made and the issue of Gaza and the whole of Palestine will be resolved, but according to the profit and interests of the United States of America and Israel, certainly not the Middle Eastern peoples.

Yet, Gaza is not for sale.

Not for sale is the Resistance, which through the Hamas spokesman issued the following statement, which we quote in full:

“On the U.S. president’s statements regarding the relocation of our people and the ceasefire agreement.

We reiterate our rejection of U.S. President Donald Trump’s statements regarding the displacement of our people from the Gaza Strip under the pretext of reconstruction.

Trump’s statements are racist and represent a call for ethnic cleansing, with the goal of liquidating the Palestinian cause and denying the established national rights of our people.

The plan to expel our people from Gaza will not succeed and will be met by a unified Palestinian, Arab and Islamic position that rejects all displacement plans.

Our great people of Gaza have stood firm in the face of bombardment and aggression and will stand firm on their land, opposing all plans for forced displacement and deportation.

What the occupation has failed to achieve with aggression and massacres, it will fail to achieve with plans for liquidation and displacement.

Hamas is committed to the ceasefire agreement that the occupation has pledged to abide by, sponsored and guaranteed by the mediators (Egypt, Qatar and the United States) and witnessed by the international community.

We affirm that the occupation is the party that has not fulfilled its commitments and takes responsibility for any complications or delays.”

The future of the entire Middle East/West Asia, on which the realignment of the world geopolitical axis depends, is not for sale.

No American dollar will ever buy a single crumb of the Palestinians’ courage.
