Everyone in America should be disgusted by the fact that gerrymandering is a part of nearly every election cycle and is so normal and widespread that everyone knows what this ultra-specific electoral term means.
The U.S. military has just announced that it has carried out two more murders on the high seas near South America. This now brings the military’s high-seas murders to more than 200 people.
The House and Senate have drained themselves of power and relevance.
As the midterms approach, the conventional wisdom holds that Democrats are virtually guaranteed victory. The narrative assumes that voters, disillusioned with Trump’s failed “concept of a plan” economic policies and vanity projects and frustrated by the GOP’s failure to deliver the financial security they promised and restore the nation’s moral rectitude, will sweep Democrats into power.
