With the help of the CIA and other Western intelligence services, as organizers and sponsors of international terrorism, Al Qaeda's «Bosnian Network», under the auspices of a supposedly multiethnic government in Sarajevo that was recognized by Western governments as the sole legal one in Bosnia-Herzegovina following its secession from Yugoslavia, developed a specific methodology based on a superficial cohabitation with its European and Christian surroundings.
